Connecting the Dots in an Unconnected World

Noah

The movie "Noah" made it to the big screen last weekend with mixed reviews. Allow me a few comments.

First, I am amazed that Christians are surprised that the movie takes a significant departure from the Bible. Hollywood is about making money not being true to the scripture. We need not become indignant that they took great liberties with the Biblical narrative in the movie. We should be surprised if they did not.

Second, Hollywood as an industry has proven over and over to be anti-Christian and anti-Biblical values. While there are some in Hollywood that know and follow Christ they are few and often punished for their faith. We make the error when we expect Hollywood to "get it right" when it comes to Biblical Christianity.

Finally, the best way to protest Hollywood and their false portrayal of the life of Noah is to not attend the movie. They are all about profits and when we do not attend, their profits are reduced and that get's their attention.
