Connecting the Dots in an Unconnected World

Lord, Teach Us to Pray

This month I have been preaching a series of messages titled, "Lord, Teach Us to Pray," from Luke 11. The series has been 4 messages titled:

The Pattern of Prayer
The Persistence of Prayer
The Promise of Prayer
The Provision of Prayer

It occurs to me that far too often we view prayer as a means to receive something from God rather than the high privilege of communion with God. There is no doubt that the words of James are true, "ye have not because ye ask not..." However, I am convinced that in prayer we should be more concerned with Him and knowing Him than with what is His that we can make ours.

Lord, teach us to pray!

Attempting to Connect the Dots...
